A synthpop/rock track about love and the call of the wilderness, inspired by fantasy games, 80s adventure movies, and my own life growing up in the wilderness.
tangled in your tresses in your bed
I never saw the bridge was crumbling up ahead
drowning in the pools of your eyes
I never saw the sun already on the rise
the call of the horizon
oh here there be dragons
I belong in the hinterlands
on the ragged edge
on the boundary far from you
You would still a beating heart
but the bitter truth is
there's one thing love can't do
You play for keeps I play to win
Your touch the coldest fire on my skin
This house is burning while you're spinning in your dress
I am deafened by the call of the wilderness

This is cool as hell. I feel like I'm adrift in a space between dimensions, dancing amongst hallucinatory fragments of several realities.
In one moment I'm dancing in a courtyard of some ancient technicolor empire. The next it's a little island in the sky of a dreamlike cube-world. So cool! Jank Hambrams
